TheDenver Nuggetscontinue to silence their critics and prove that those who thought they were just a regular-season team were wrong.
And obviously, most of that has had to do with the way Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic have played this season.
That s why JJ Redick believes they re easily the best duo in the league right now, and not because of the combined stats or how many points they could score or whether they re bonafide bucket-getters or not, but because of their synchronicity and how they can play and feed off each other.

Redick pointed out how the Nuggets can always rely on their two-man game, as Murray is an elite off-ball player who s constantly moving and knows how to make the most of Jokic s reads.
He also explained how everybody on the team gets to eat because of everything that Murray and Jokic create around them.
Notably, Jokic is one of the all-time greatest playmakers and passers already, so his sole presence in the restricted area gives the Nuggets a plethora of options.
But Murray has also been perfect at embracing his role next to Jokic.
He can take some ball-handling duties off his shoulders, cut to the rim, or move all over the perimeter to make sure he s always open to knock down a shot from beyond the arc.
They draw so much defensive attention that it just becomes easy for whoever else is on the court with them, and that s why they ll likely win their first championship this season.
