TheMiami Heatshocked the world again on Sunday night.

Erik Spoelstra s side came back from a big deficit to steal home-court advantage for the fourth consecutive series, and this time on the biggest stage of the competition.

That s why former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins took some time to tip his hat off to the Heat for the way they played themselves back into the game, citing that people should talk more about all the things they did well instead of what the Denver Nuggets did wrong.

Perkins lauded Jimmy Butler for being a true leader and continuously trusting his teammates.

He pointed out the fact that Butler allowed Duncan Robinson to make plays on the weak side, and he also let Gabe Vincent score off the high pick-and-roll rather than playing hero ball like most stars usually do.

Perkins believes the Heat are the true definition of a team, explaining how their body language is never off, and you never see them complain when another player gets more shots or gets going.

Truth be told, that s just one of the things that has made the Heat such a competitive force in the postseason.

There is no ego, any player can step up on any given night, and the rest of the guys will just do whatever it takes to help the team win.

Butler has already made it clear that he sees his colleagues as teammates instead of role players, and they re just three wins away from winning a ring.
