Golden State Warriors’ Unsuccessful Season
In June 2022, the Golden State Warriors were triumphant after winning the NBA championship. It seemed that they had a great chance of doing it again the following season. Unfortunately, they were incredibly inconsistent and ended up with the sixth seed in the Western Conference, which resulted in a second-round loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Coach Kerr’s Fault
Head coach Steve Kerr, one of the best in the business, confessed that he had not been successful in uniting the team. This prompted former NBA star Tim Hardaway Sr. to criticize him for not taking responsibility sooner.
Training Camp Conflict
At the start of the season, there was a widely publicized altercation between Draymond Green and Jordan Poole during training camp. This quarrel concluded with Green punching Poole. Despite the altercation, Poole was given a huge contract extension from the organization.

Head coach Steve Kerr was held accountable for his failure to bring the team together, while Jordan Poole was rewarded with a contract extension despite his altercation with Draymond Green.
