The NFL’s 2023 regular-season schedule is expected to be released soon, but some information has already leaked.

The distance that each of the 32 clubs in the league will travel during the regular season is one unknown.

The Seattle Seahawks will travel the most miles and will share the most time zones with the San Francisco 49ers, according to NFL insider Adam Schefter.

Even though they will not play a single game outside of the United States in 2023, the Seahawks are in first place in both categories.

The Los Angeles Rams acquired star linebacker Bobby Wagner, another final piece of their 2013 Super Bowl-winning team, the same year they dealt away franchise quarterback Russell Wilson.

The club was predicted to have a slow start after Geno Smith, a seasoned backup journeyman, was chosen as the starting quarterback.

Instead, Smith enjoyed a stellar season, leading the league in pass completion rate and won Comeback Player of the Year while leading Seattle to a surprising playoff appearance.

Wagner is back for the 2023 season, and while he may have slipped a little recently, they’re hoping he can help them rebuild a defense that finished last year ranked 25th in points allowed and 30th in running yards allowed.

The NFC West was rather poor in 2022, with the Seahawks finishing second at 9-8 and the 49ers taking first place with a 13-4 record, but things could improve there in 2023, especially if the Rams return to health.
