With the Atlanta Falcons, Matt Ryan had a successful NFL career, but not so much with the Indianapolis Colts.
The former league MVP will now begin a new phase of his career, one that is unrelated to football but takes place off the field.
Beginning with the upcoming season, Ryan will allegedly work for CBS Sports as a football analyst.

Notably, that sparked a variety of responses on social media, from those who were unmoved by the announcement to those who made 28-3 jokes at his expense to those who wished him well on his new career.
He is going to be great until the end of the show.

For the majority of his career, Ryan put up respectable numbers, and some could argue that his stats are somewhat deserving of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Despite the fact that he was never the finest or most dazzling quarterback in the league and that iconic Super Bowl lead that was blown will always be a scar on his record, he was still synonymous with reliability during his playing days in Atlanta.
Notably, Tony Romo and Drew Brees also had uneven first seasons as analysts. He is hardly the only former quarterback to make the switch from the field to the booth in recent years.
However, after securing a massive 10-year contract with FOX, most people will still be waiting for renowned quarterback Tom Brady to take the next step in his career. Brady said that he will take the year off to prepare for the start of the 2024 NFL season.
