After a busy offseason, theTexas Rangersare showing the baseball world just what they are capable of.
The team added Jacob deGrom, Andrew Heaney, and Nathan Eovaldi in free agency to bolster their rotation.
But their rotation isn t the only area of the club that is performing well.
The Rangers are in first place in the competitive American League West division and lead the defending World Series champion Houston Astros by two games.
Texas has won 11 of its last 15 games, has scored double-digit runs an MLB-best 12 times, and is leading the entire league in runs scored with 297, and runs per game at 6.5.
On Twitter, MLB posted some of these impressive stats.

The Rangers have proven to be a different team in 2023.
Last season, they finished 68-94 and came in fourth place in the AL West behind the Astros, Seattle Mariners, and Los Angeles Angels.
This year is different, however, and the Rangers are looking much more like the powerhouse that went to the World Series in 2010 and 2011, albeit with a different cast of characters.
Still, the Rangers are a solid team and own the third-best record in the American League behind the Tampa Bay Rays and Baltimore Orioles.
The offense has been clicking for the new-look Rangers and the team is red-hot as we move closer to the month of June.
The defending champion Astros are red-hot, just as the Rangers are.
But Texas remains in front in a stacked AL West and are looking to capture their first division title since back in 2016.
