Although the defending NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles are the favorites in the minds of many to return to the Super Bowl this season, there may be a legitimate window of opportunity for theDallas Cowboysto get to the big game.

They have finished 12-5 in both of the last two seasons and possess plenty of talent on both sides of the football.

With Week 1 of the 2023 season about three months away, Dallas is looking to finalize their roster.

According to NFL insider Ari Meirov, they released wide receiver Antonio Callaway and worked out three additional wideouts, signing one of them, Tyron Johnson, on Monday.

Johnson was undrafted out of Louisiana State University and Oklahoma State University, and in three pro seasons, he has played for a total of four different teams while posting 422 yards and three touchdowns.

The Cowboys wide receiver room is starting to look impressive after a season in which they ranked just 14th in passing yards.

It starts with CeeDee Lamb, who had 1,359 yards and nine touchdowns in 2022 and earned his second straight trip to the Pro Bowl.

They have also added Brandin Cooks, who has gone over 1,100 yards four times in his nine NFL seasons and should be an outstanding second option behind Lamb, while Michael Gallup is projected to be the Cowboys third wideout.

In the backfield, running back Tony Pollard has emerged as a star, and on defense, they will have star cornerback Stephon Gilmore lining up opposite another star in Stefon Diggs, to go along with All-Pro pass-rusher Micah Parsons.
