Not so long ago, teams were literally tanking to try and get Karl-Anthony Towns in theNBADraft.
Fast forward to today, and he may not even be a part of the best big man in the league debate anymore.
However, Towns has always had plenty of confidence in his game, and he s constantly had nothing but hot takes and good things to say about himself.
First, he said that he was the greatest shooting big man of all time, and now he doubled down on that statement by saying that some people will say he changed the game once it s all said and done.
Needless to say, the fans had plenty to say about that although none of them actually seemed to agree with that take.
You average 20 and 10 in Minnesota and foul out in the playoffs don t get me wrong I want ur life tho

Changed the game?
Just walk the walk
No need to say those things since they might not pan out well in the future. Anyway, I hope his prediction is right.Prashanth (@YVPRASH) June 15, 2023
This is also the problem with Kat; he’s talking more about what people think of him and his own retirement than he’s talking about what he’s going to do to win next season.
Just shows he’s not in the moment and problem solving to be a champion.

Only thing Lat changed is his voice on and off the court

Towns appears to be way off with this one.
He has averaged a double-double for his career and is a solid scorer and rebounder, posting All-Star-caliber numbers year in and year out; no one can deny that.
But he hasn t changed the game in the slightest.
He s not the first big man to go out to the perimeter and shoot threes, nor is he the best ever at it, either, and that s fine.
He s a very good player that could be an elite second option on a contending team, and he might even set all kinds of marks in Timberwolves history although most fans would still choose Kevin Garnett over him but he hasn t changed the game.
