TheLos Angeles Dodgersare not having the dominant regular season that many people are used to seeing from them.

They have been one of the best regular-season teams of the past decade and have been a perpetual playoff team.

So far this season the Dodgers find themselves in third place in the NL West behind the Arizona Diamondbacks and San Francisco Giants.

LA has a record of 40-33 and has gone 4-6 in their last 10 games.

But one player who continues to be elite is left-handed pitcher Clayton Kershaw.

Despite his age (35 years old), the three-time Cy Young winner has not missed a step.

According to Sarah Langs, among all Dodgers pitchers, Kershaw has the most scoreless starts of 7+ innings since 1900.

His 64 total 7+ inning scoreless starts surpassed Don Drysdale s 63.

Kershaw is once again having a great season for the Dodgers.

He has made 15 starts with a record of 9-4.

The lefty has a 2.72 ERA and has thrown 89.1 innings with 103 strikeouts.

In a season where most of the Dodgers starters have gotten injured, their oldest one has stayed healthy.

It will be interesting to see if the Dodgers look to add more pitching depth as the season moves on.

The Dodgers have always been one of the more active teams around the trade deadline and this year should be no different.

They might be in third place in the West, but it would be a surprise if they ended up in that position.

Kershaw even looks primed to once again end up in the Cy Young conversation.
