Although Dalvin Cook is one of the better running backs in the NFL and very much in his prime, the Minnesota Vikings decided to release him this offseason, making him a free agent.

There are reportedly multiple teams interested in the four-time Pro Bowler, and he could singlehandedly change the fortunes of one of them.

The team most linked to Cook is theMiami Dolphins, a team that seems to have almost everything except an above-average running back.

ESPN s Jeff Darlington seems convinced that Cook will end up signing with the Dolphins, especially since he is originally from Miami.

Cook may not get the same amount of recognition as Derrick Henry and Jonathan Taylor, but he has been consistently productive over the years.

In each of the last four seasons, he has run for over 1,100 yards while being named to the Pro Bowl, and he had 13 rushing touchdowns in 2019 and 16 in 2020.

Last season, he was a major reason why the Vikings won 13 games, which was tied for the second-highest win total in the NFL along with the San Francisco 49ers and Buffalo Bills.

The Dolphins have a fearsome wide receiver duo in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, as well as a lockdown combo of cornerbacks in Xavien Howard and new arrival Jalen Ramsey.

Adding Cook to that arsenal could make the race for the AFC title even more interesting, and it is already a race that should be extremely competitive.

But the Denver Broncos are also rumored to have lots of interest in Cook, and he may end up taking his time to make a decision on where he will play.
